As an old-souled Californian with an engineer's mind and designer’s heart, I’m a product design engineer with a meticulous eye and love for pushing the limits of materials and manufacturing processes. I currently spend my days within the Packaging team at Apple, working on novel packaging concepts and material integration that technically perform to high Apple standards and elevate customer experience while minimizing environmental impacts.
Prior to Apple, I pursued a master’s degree in Integrated Product Design as a way to make sense of my eclectic interests. As an undergraduate mechanical engineering student at Penn, I took the fundamentals of my project-based engineering courses and applied them in a more nuanced way through an architecture minor.
In grad school, I enjoyed developing a diverse set of projects that bring empathy to both everyday & extreme experiences, from a smart cash register to a board game that helps families talk about cancer.
Outside of work, I love trying to understand the effect of design on the human psyche, painting in coffeeshops, developing cover art for my Spotify playlists, thinking about people and making people think. I am always looking to collaborate creatively with others - you know where to find me.
